Glencoe, Scotland – Of Haggis, Whisky and Scottish Highlands

The decision to go to Glencoe was actually a rather impulsive one. I’d booked a trip to London for 2 weeks, but as usual, I’d wanted to get more out of the 13 hour flight time from Singapore to the ‘other side’ of the world. I remember booking the Caledonian sleeper train ticket at midnight a couple of weeks before the trip, kind of excited and not sure what to expect. 

EDINBURGH – CASTLE ON THE HILL

When I was in Paris, I took a short 1 hour 45 minutes flight to Edinburgh(via Ryanair) and spent a really short 3 days there. Kind of regretted not having more days here, but I was a poor fresh grad then, didn’t have much money left to extend my stay. Anyway, Edinburgh’s gorgeous. Love the cobbled streets, especially along Royal Mile.
