I love Hong Kong. The first thing that comes to mind, well, to most people, is usually Dim Sum. I’m not any different, given that I don’t spend much of my travel allowances on shopping for big items. The second thing that comes to my mind is the […]
In May this year, my friends and I decided to make a short trip to Yogyakarta, a city on the Indonesian island of Java. A couple of them had suggested to climb Mount Merapi, and to be honest, I’ve never really considered climbing a volcano, not to even […]
The decision to go to Glencoe was actually a rather impulsive one. I’d booked a trip to London for 2 weeks, but as usual, I’d wanted to get more out of the 13 hour flight time from Singapore to the ‘other side’ of the world. I remember booking the Caledonian sleeper train ticket at midnight a couple of weeks before the trip, kind of excited and not sure what to expect.
Nepal has been a country I’ve been wanting to visit, because of how little I knew about the place. And to be honest, it isn’t a typical ‘bucketlist’ destination to many people. Travelling to me is about taking a break from familiarity, and opening one’s eyes to the world. Being […]
I fondly remember this trip to Paris because it was my long awaited graduation trip, and also my second time taking a plane, and first flight out alone. I met up with a friend of mine who was living in Paris at that time, and stayed at her […]
When I was in Paris, I took a short 1 hour 45 minutes flight to Edinburgh(via Ryanair) and spent a really short 3 days there. Kind of regretted not having more days here, but I was a poor fresh grad then, didn’t have much money left to extend my stay. Anyway, Edinburgh’s gorgeous. Love the cobbled streets, especially along Royal Mile.
Located in Plettenberg Bay, we stopped by Bramon Wines Estate for lunch one afternoon while roadtripping in South Africa. We were slightly late noon so there wasn’t a lot of people, just us and another group.
Being a wine estate, there’s a good selection of wine to pair with the food menu…
I did a road trip to South Africa a while ago with a couple of friends and had such an amazing time. It was also a rather short trip (for a destination so far from home) because I was short of time! However, with careful planning, we really managed to experience the key experiences of South Africa, such as getting to try its amazing local seafood, experience living in a wildlife safari, seeing animals really up close on safari game drives and explore amazing beaches, hike up famous peaks and visit famous landmarks such as Cape of Good Hope!
I’ve been wanting to try ricotta pancakes for a while after seeing people post them on Instagram.
I was eager to know if they taste as good as they look.
Was wondering what to eat in Odaiba and saw a nearby cafe Bill’s, a British coffee chain in Odaiba, famous for these unique fluffy pancakes.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but do you think Isaac Toast severely overrated?
Give me McDonald’s Sausage McMuffin for breakfast anytime(better and cheaper)!
