Roadtrip USA West Coast: Los Angeles, California

In the summer of 2015 my friend and I took a road trip to explore the West Coast. I flew into LA and we began from there. I hadn’t visited America before so I was pretty excited to see to see the country with fresh eyes. My only impression of the states only came from hollywood tv shows, and I’d never thought I would get the chance to visit so soon.

Glencoe, Scotland – Of Haggis, Whisky and Scottish Highlands

The decision to go to Glencoe was actually a rather impulsive one. I’d booked a trip to London for 2 weeks, but as usual, I’d wanted to get more out of the 13 hour flight time from Singapore to the ‘other side’ of the world. I fondly remember this trip to Paris because it was my long awaited graduation trip, and also my second time taking a plane, and first flight out alone. I met up with a friend of mine who was living in Paris at that time, and stayed at her […]

EDINBURGH – CASTLE ON THE HILL

When I was in Paris, I took a short 1 hour 45 minutes flight to Edinburgh(via Ryanair) and spent a really short 3 days there. Kind of regretted not having more days here, but I was a poor fresh grad then, didn’t have much money left to extend my stay. Anyway, Edinburgh’s gorgeous. Love the cobbled streets, especially along Royal Mile.

SOUTH AFRICA ROADTRIP – Full itinerary!

I did a road trip to South Africa a while ago with a couple of friends and had such an amazing time. It was also a rather short trip (for a destination so far from home) because I was short of time! However, with careful planning, we really managed to experience the key experiences of South Africa, such as getting to try its amazing local seafood, experience living in a wildlife safari, seeing animals really up close on safari game drives and explore amazing beaches, hike up famous peaks and visit famous landmarks such as Cape of Good Hope!
